Second Brain is a self-hosted organizational tool and the invisible spine of my creative process. Developed as a response to the friction of maintaining scattered notes and unorganized assets, it acts as a central repository for research, ideas, and project documentation.
Unlike standard note-taking apps, it is built with an integrated AI agent flow (Oracle) and specifically engineered to support my iterative workflow. It serves a critical role in my practice by ensuring that research and technical learnings are actively captured and resurfaced, satisfying the core demands of continuous professional development.
The Research Process
One of the hardest parts of digital media design is maintaining momentum across multiple complex systems. By centralizing my research and task lists into this 'Second Brain', I've managed to turn disparate moments of inspiration into an actionable timeline. It directly feeds the content that populates the Process page of my portfolio.
Aesthetic & Technical Alignment
Visually, Second Brain mirrors the brutalist, terminal-inspired aesthetic of my public portfolio. Technically, it is a robust Next.js application running locally, demonstrating an understanding of modern web architectures and the practical application of AI within a personal workflow.
